However
our vacation is coming to the end. We have got lots of impressions
and were full of hope and plans for the next step in this wonderful
city. The museums have shocked me and I will be able to tell much to
my friends coming back home.
Beautiful parks and gardens with many plants attract their comfort and
serenity. It seems that Santa Barbara is hidden under the greens. For example,
Botanical Garden, which has collected a variety of plant species, is really
a miracle. Sara has found about two hundred types of trees there. Park
Frances was named in honor of Francesca Emmanuel, who was famous for his
work of plant breeding. Bird Sanctuary Andrew Clark Bird Refuge - Casa
del Erra-ro. It is a private estate, which is known for its magnificent
gardens in the Spanish-Moorish style. Memorial Gardens, like a museum,
the Alice Keck Park, Waterfront Park, Park De La Guerra Plaza Skofielda,
Conservation Douglas, Carpinteria - Huge flower, and many others attract
our attention. Such number of parks and gardens, their magnificence cannot
leave anyone to be indifferent. We are full of delight of the wonderful
fountain with dolphins. It is beyond any words! We’ve learned that
it is a symbol of Santa Barbara. The fountain statue was built in 1982.
Each corner of this city is unique and stylish. And finally we have had
a chance to continue our vacation by sea. The tortoise color of water makes
us keep silence and stay calm for a long time. It seems to us that we are
like birds in the blue sky, looking for anything new and unfamiliar. Of
course, my daughter Sara is in good spirits. I am happy to see her admiring
the coral reefs in the deep water and talking to other tourists by chance.
And suddenly we saw dolphins. These were swimming close to out ship and
didn’t pay attention to people standing on board the ship. Dolphins
are wonderful! I felt like touching their backs and fins. There are six
of them passing by and attracting our attention. We stopped breathing and
talking. Dolphins are really worth watching. Our vacation is over.
